MISSION STATEMENT Our league, which includes New Egypt Recreation Board, members; parents, Coaches and players, is dedicated to teaching baseball skills while our children enjoy playing the game with their teammates. The mission statement, which Cal Ripken Baseball has adopted, is the following: New Egypt Recreation Baseball welcomes players from ages 4 to 15 to our League. Our goal is to provide a fun and exciting baseball experience for each player while teaching them the fundamentals of the game. It is our true belief that every child with a desire to play baseball be afforded that opportunity regardless of skill and have a positive experience every time!

Develop a strong urge for sportsman-like conduct.
Develop understanding of and respect for the RULES.
Develop courage in defeat, tolerance and modesty in victory.
Develop control over emotions and speech.
Develop spirit of cooperation and team play.
Develop into real, true CITIZENS.
